Psy Trance

Psy Trace History

Psy Trance é um dos mais populares estilos de música eletrônica nos últimos anos, e vem sendo tocado desde raves específicas para este estilo até clubes mais comerciais. É bastante psicodélico, tendo como característica principal a idéia de transe em que o ouvinte entra, embalado pelas linhas de sintetizador repetidas ao longo das batidas da música, que consiste num ritmo 4/4. Desde o seu surgimento, o trance já passou por várias mudanças. De acordo com os detalhes em sua estrutura, podem ser dos estilos Progressive, Dark e Psychodelic, entre outros. Cada vertente tornou-se independente, formando uma escola para os artistas envolvidos. Sendo assim, é possível acompanhar a evolução da cena psicodélica em particular.
Dentro da cena psy atual, a produção de música eletrônica é abundante e rica em qualidade, dividindo-se nitidamente em três fortes correntes: Full On, Progressive e Darkside.

Full On

É a vertente mais pesada e rápida. Seus baixos são corridos com muitas variações de tons, sintetizadores ao extremo e por uma grande oscilação entre momentos de euforia total e melodias bem trabalhadas, geralmente construídas entre 142 e 147 bpms. É sem dúvida um som que tem um apelo dançante. É extrovertido e convidativo à expressão corporal da dança. Seus elementos vão entrando, cada um em seu tempo, até que a música enche, e então explode.
